1997 witnessed the opening of McGreevy’s new family butchers shop in the Lecale area of Downpatrick. A Master Butcher Richard, shop owner, ensures that value, quality and service have always been at the heart of the business. The shop has won many awards for its produce and from it humble beginnings now stocks a wide range of, where possible, local meats, vegetables and platter of deli products. All our meats are full traceable to the farm they were reared on.
Over the years Richard has established a personal relationship with local farmers ensuring that as much of the shops meat and vegetables are locally sourced and produced with the highest standards in welfare and crop management. The team of fully trained butchers then produce the meat to the highest standard offering superb value alongside a reliable and friendly level of service.
